Abundance versus scarcity - Health is a renewable resource

Life is a continuous process of unfolding, movement and flow.
We are alive within a structure known as our bodymind which is inseparable from the world around us.  As long as we are alive, we live in relationship with our internal and external environments, continuously finding a new balance and adapting to ever changing contexts.

Health then is the outcome of this evolutionary and adaptive process of interaction and continuous feedback that is looping between our internal processes, our thoughts, emotions and actions, between all living things in this wonderful world .

When health is defined as simply absence of disease and disease is something we need to fight, attack and kill, we become fixated on short term solutions and loose sight of the underlying evolutionary process which could be an opportunity knocking on our door to wake us up, open ourselves to new learning and thus figure out how to live more in balance and discover life's natural abundance.

Like our social systems, the human bodymind is most intelligent and able to take care of life when there is movement, when information and nutrients flow freely and toxins are enabled to leave the system without obstruction.
Deeply engrained structures and toxins that can't exit the system typically cause obstruction and congestion and thus  prevent us reaching our highest potential by holding us back within old patterns.

Of course some diseases are hard wired in genetic material and passed on to the next generation. However, with what we know from Epigenetics, even of those only a small percentage are so hard wired that disease is inevitable.

Epigenetics tells us that we have a lot more control over our health than we think!

We've always assumed that age-related diseases like high blood pressure, heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, stroke and cancer were inevitable consequences of aging, that our genes set the course and resistance was futile. But now, through our understanding of epigenetics, scientists have determined that this, happily, is not the case.

Whether or not our genes are expressed, and blossom into disease, may be determined by how we live our life, how we eat, the toxins we're exposed to, the supplements we take, our beliefs and how we handle stress.

This means that though you may be susceptible to heart disease or diabetes, you do not necessarily have to succumb to them. That is, your genes are a predisposition, not a fate, and the expression of your genes is much more dynamic and modifiable than previously realized.

Knowing you can influence your genetic destiny is an extremely empowering notion because it puts the ball back in your court, enabling you to take charge of your health and make small changes with enormous impact.

Abundance versus scarcity means we can revitalise our bodymind, using a personalised blend of various approaches and recover our zest for life at any age. Health is a renewable energy resource that when reclaimed can lead to abundance.

I offer to link you to useful resources, explore with you the treatment most suitable for you and your condition and guide you through a treatment tailored to your needs . This may include nutritional counselling, supplements and herbs or relaxation practices.
